Questions to Ask References

1. What was the nature of the project the builder did for them?
2. Was it their first time renovating?
3. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being perfect satisfaction, how would they rate their satisfaction with the builder? Their staff? Their subcontractors? The way they resolved problems?
4. Was it easy to work with the crew, management, and accounting?
5. Would they use them again?
6. Would they recommend them to their best friends?
7. Have they sent others to the builder, and were those people happy with their results?
